Installed from $52,336 Shell set in a single day Central & Northern Ohio

Everything from the first dig to your first swim.

Turnkey means exactly that. You pick the model and the finish. We take care of every step between signing off and getting in the water.

Excavation and site prep

We dig the hole to the exact dimensions of your chosen shell and prepare the site for a level, stable set.

One-piece shell set

The fiberglass shell is craned into position and set in a single day. No forming, no curing, no waiting.

Plumbing and equipment

All return lines, suction lines, skimmer and pump connections are plumbed and fitted before the shell is backfilled.

Electrical coordination

We coordinate with your licensed electrician for pump and lighting circuits so everything is code-ready on handover.

Backfill and bond beam

We backfill around the shell in stages as the pool is filled with water, keeping equal pressure on both sides. The bond beam locks the perimeter.

Coping and decking options

Choose from a range of coping profiles and decking finishes. Pavers, concrete, and composite options are available to suit your backyard and budget.

Fill and water startup

We fill the pool, balance the water chemistry, and run through the equipment to make sure everything is operating correctly before we hand over.

Owner walkthrough

Before we leave, we walk you through the equipment, the water care routine, and everything you need to know to keep your pool in great shape.

From your backyard to your pool, step by step.

Most fiberglass installations are swim-ready in two to four weeks. Here is how the build unfolds from the day we start digging.

01

Site visit and fixed quote

We visit your property to check yard access, soil type, grade, and any obstacles for the crane and excavator. Once we have the full picture, we send you a fixed installed price that covers everything from dig to startup. No surprises later.

02

Permits and scheduling

We pull the necessary building permits and lock in your install date. Most Ohio municipalities require a pool permit before breaking ground. We manage the paperwork so you do not have to.

03

Excavation

On dig day, we excavate the hole to the exact footprint and depth of your pool shell. Soil is removed from the site and the base is leveled and prepared to receive the pool.

04

Shell set and plumbing

The fiberglass shell arrives on a flatbed and is craned directly into the excavated hole. The shell is leveled, then all return lines, suction lines, and skimmer plumbing are run and connected before we begin backfilling.

05

Backfill and bond beam

We fill the pool with water and backfill around the shell simultaneously, keeping pressure balanced on both sides. The concrete bond beam is poured around the top perimeter, tying the shell to the deck structure and locking everything in place.

06

Coping, decking, and startup

Coping is installed around the pool edge, then your chosen decking goes in. Once the deck is complete, we run a final startup: water chemistry is balanced, all equipment is tested, and we walk you through everything before you take over.

What affects your installed price.

Every installation quote is fixed after a site visit. These are the main factors that move the number up or down. Understanding them helps you plan your budget and pick the right model before we meet.

Get a site visit and fixed quote

Pool model and size

Larger pools require more excavation, more shell material, more plumbing, and more decking. The model you choose is the single biggest variable in the installed price.

Yard access for equipment

The crane and excavator need to reach your pool location. A wide open backyard is straightforward. A narrow side gate, a slope, or an overhead obstruction takes more time and planning.

Decking and coping finish

A plain brushed concrete deck costs less than a full paver or travertine finish. Your coping profile choice also affects the final number. We quote both together so you can compare options clearly.

Site and soil conditions

Rocky ground, high clay content, or a high water table all add work to the excavation. We assess this during the site visit so the quote reflects your actual conditions.

Fencing and local permits

Ohio law and most local codes require a fence around a new pool. If your yard is not already fenced, factor that cost in. Permit fees vary by municipality and are included in your quote.

Extras and upgrades

A raised spa, underwater LED lighting, a gas or heat pump heater, an automatic pool cover, or a water feature all add to the project scope. Any extras are quoted separately and itemised clearly.

Weeks to swim, not months.

If you have been researching pools, you have probably come across concrete (gunite) as an alternative. Here is how the two approaches compare for Ohio homeowners.

Installation time

Fiberglass

Shell set in a single day. Most builds swim-ready in 2 to 4 weeks.

Concrete / gunite

Built in the ground from scratch. Forming, pouring, curing, plastering. Often 2 to 3 months.

Ohio winters

Fiberglass

The fiberglass shell flexes with freeze-thaw ground movement instead of cracking. Closes and winters well without risk to the structure.

Concrete / gunite

Concrete can crack under freeze-thaw pressure over time. Plaster surfaces need regular maintenance and eventual replastering.

Ongoing maintenance

Fiberglass

The smooth gelcoat surface resists algae and staining. Fewer chemicals, less scrubbing, no liner to replace and no replastering.

Concrete / gunite

Rough plaster surfaces harbour algae and need more chemical treatment. Plaster typically needs resurfacing every 10 to 15 years.

Common questions about pool installation.

Have a question we have not covered? Call (614) 591-7753 and we will talk it through.

How long does a fiberglass pool installation take?

The fiberglass shell is set into the ground in a single day. From that point, most installations are swim-ready within two to four weeks, depending on decking, inspections, and weather. That is a fraction of the two to three months a typical concrete or gunite pool takes.

What is included in a turnkey installation?

Our turnkey installation covers excavation and site preparation, delivery and placement of the one-piece fiberglass shell, all plumbing and equipment connections, electrical coordination, backfill and bond beam, coping and decking (choice of finish), pool fill and water startup, and a full owner walkthrough before we leave.

What affects the final installed price?

The biggest factors are the pool model and size you choose, your yard access for the crane and excavator, the decking and coping finish you select, site and soil conditions, local fencing and permit requirements, and any extras such as a spa, underwater lighting, a heater, or an automatic cover. After a site visit we send a fixed price that covers everything.

Why does fiberglass install so much faster than concrete?

A concrete or gunite pool is built in the ground from scratch, which means weeks of forming, pouring, curing, plastering, and finishing. A fiberglass pool arrives as a finished, factory-built one-piece shell. We dig the hole, lower the shell in, and the structure is already complete. Plumbing, backfill, and decking follow, but the longest part of a concrete build is simply not part of the job.

How do fiberglass pools hold up to Ohio winters?

Fiberglass shells flex slightly with freeze-thaw ground movement rather than cracking the way concrete can. The smooth gelcoat surface also resists the staining and scaling that Ohio hard water causes on plaster pools. Closed properly with the right water level and a good cover, a fiberglass pool winters well in Ohio and does not need replastering or liner replacement.
